Iowa Nonprofit Excellence Training Coming Your Way

Your department's commitment to excellence shines through in your deep investment in training. You use internal and external resources, classroom time and drills to do your best to be prepared for the many scenarios the 911 call can bring. 

How do your apply that same commitment to excellence to the overall management of your nonprofit operations? One of the best resources in Iowa to help you with that need is the Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center.

This spring, the Resource Center is taking their Principles and Practices of Nonprofit Excellence training on the road with daily sessions running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The training is  free with only registration required due to space limitations. The spring schedule is: 

1. Thursday, March 10 in Fort Madison
2. Tuesday, March 22 in Vinton
3. Friday, April 1 in Creston
4. Tuesday, April 26 in Des Moines
5. Tuesday, May 10 in Pocahontas 

Among those presenting at each session are Willard L. "Sandy" Boyd, Richard Koontz and Jude West, three of the most knowledgeable, passionate and genuine nonprofit professionals in any state.

Your department/association may adopt the Iowa Principles and Practices of Nonprofit Excellence via resolution to register for the Principles and Practices Register of Accountability.
